So we’ve moved. We’re not exactly unpacked, not even exactly settled–I have yet to find my beloved coffee mugs–but we are in the new house.

I’m getting back to business, and part of that includes a few changes involving the blog. Stay tuned for some new features around here, including an interview series!

In the meantime, I have exciting news regarding book events!

On Thursday, September 6–just two days after the release– I’ll be reading at The Regulator Bookshop.

On Saturday, September 8, I’ll be signing books at Parker & Otis.

And, very exciting, on February 16, I’ll be speaking at the Savannah Book Festival, which is a wonderful event that has begun to garner lots of well-deserved praise. (I also happened to get married in Savannah–in the very square where the festival takes place.) Book lovers, consider attending. Not only is it an excellent event, it’s an excellent time of year to visit Savannah.

It’s hard to write a good one. Many of the contenders for my book were such stinkers that I’m embarrassed just thinking about them. I finally hit on How Lucky You Are as I was reading through one of the final drafts and spotted the phrase in a pivotal scene. It was immediately obvious–like, “Duh, of course this is The One” obvious.

That said, it’s fun to think of titles when the pressure’s off. (Well, fun for me, at least!) I have lots of them just waiting to be attached to something.

What are some of your favorites? My best friend loves The Winter of Our Discontent. Now, that’s a title.
