Hooray! I love Parents magazine. Check out their story about HOW LUCKY here.
Over the past four years, as I wrote my book and had my girls, I cut way back on my magazine work. It was a difficult decision to make–financially, emotionally–but I had to face the reality that I couldn’t write a book, care for my babies in the way that I wanted to, and write magazine stories at the same volume and pace that I had when my life was much different. Turning down assignments often felt risky. I hated doing it.
But through it all, I’ve consistently written for Parents. The editors on their masthead are dedicated, smart, and a joy to work with–total all-stars, really.
